Workshop # 4
A Set-membership Approach to Health Monitoring of Uncertain Systems: From Theory to ApplicationOrganizers: Nacim Ramdani, Tarek Raïssi, Ali Zolghadri, Carine Jauberthie, Nathalie Verdière, Christophe Combastel, Louise Travé-Massuyès
This is a full-day pre-conference workshop on the latest research outcome in the field of set-membership techniques for model-based fault detection and isolation FDI and health monitoring of uncertain systems. It is proposed and organized based on research activities and outcomes of the ANR INS MAGIC-SPS consortium partners and also in cooperation with two distinguished people from Europe in this area. It will focus mainly on a robust alternative to FDI approaches with both continuous and hybrid discrete-continuous dynamical systems subject to bounded error uncertainties. In this unknown-but-bounded-error (UBBE) framework, the uncertainties and disturbances acting on the embedded system are assumed bounded with known bounds but otherwise unknown; the statistical properties of the uncertainty need no longer be explicitly given.
