Workshop # 6
This workshop has been cancelled due to low enrollment.
Organizer: Charalambos D. Charalambous
The scope of this workshop is to provide a tutorial introduction to decentralized stochastic dynamic decision systems with nonclassical information structures, using a dynamic team theory formalism, for both continuous-time and discrete-time systems.
The workshop is particularly suitable for Ph.D. students and young researchers who are willing to enter this new area of research and are not necessarily experts. Most relevant mathematical tools will also be described for discrete-time dynamic systems. However, it is also relevant for practitioners and researchers interested in continuous-time decentralized optimization with nonclassical information structures. The workshop will present several examples from the general control and communication areas, with emphasis on solving open problems, including that of the Witsenhausen counter example, and more complicated ones.
